Mix browned onions, ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, poppy seeds, red chili powder, cloves, cumin seeds, cardamoms, salt and ½ cup of ghee in a bowl and mix properly. Then Add milk well also.
Add chicken strips into the mixture. Keep aside with lid for 2-3 hours or Refrigerate overnight.
Place a non-stick pan on medium fire and add remaining ghee. Then add marinated chicken and stir well. Cover with lid and simmer for 16-20 minutes.
Add cream and chopped coriander leaves on top and serve hot with accompaniments.
